Still trying to process the absurd brutality that is still happening in our world. It’s disgusting how George Floyd and the rest of us black people get treated this day and age. How can someone treat another human in such inhumane manner!? It’s mind boggling and it will forever confuse me that racism exists. As a black female from Lesotho (Southern Africa), growing up in an all white school in Wales wasn’t easy and I’m sad to say that shit doesn’t get easier, it’s getting worse and worse. The racism I went through at school was so bad the police had to get involved.. but guess what.. absolutely nothing was done in the end.. no ones here to protect us. So we have to forever fight for equality. So many people are losing their lives because of police brutality and uneducated privileged people. My heart goes out to All the victims being affected in the US and every where else. This shit needs to stop! If you don’t live in the US there’s still something you can do, donate, let’s all do something. Just because this matter might die down at some point it doesn’t mean it’s gone, if you don’t continue to educate yourself and understand human equality it’ll never stop. But we need it to stop, we need REAL change not only awareness… we need deep understanding! 🙏🏽
