Early Brigitte Bardot movie, CAROLINE AND THE REBELS (1955). She had a bit part, but the re-release poster of course features her prominently. (Not a very flattering drawing by the way.)
The film is a bore really. People in costumes doing stuff. Still, the antiquity of the film itself is sort of interesting: all these dressed-up ghosts wandering around, captured by light many many years ago. Brigitte Bardot is the only one still alive.
Hand fetishists pay attention: BB’s co-star is constantly caressing and kneading her arm and hand, up to the point that you start noticing it and wonder. (I had to look up if hand fetishism even exists, but of course it does—of course, everything exists.)
I’ve also capped the old-fashioned opening titles.
